Internal investment fund

Capital that arrives with the people to put it to work.

Our internal fund takes minority or majority stakes in owner-run businesses, investing at the same time our fractional team moves in. The capital funds the value plan, the leadership executes it, and our return is realized when the business sells. Our upside is tied to your final sale price.

What's included

Two ways to take our capital

  • Minority growth investmentYou keep control. The investment funds the plan: leadership, systems, growth.
  • Majority recapitalizationTake money off the table now, keep a stake, and share in the second exit.
  • Capital paired with handsEvery investment comes with our people and a plan. We do not write passive checks.
  • Aligned returnWe make money when the business is worth more. Nothing in the structure rewards us for anything else.
  • A clear path to exitA target range and date agreed at investment, with our brokerage team running the sale.
  • Selective by designWe invest where the plan is credible and the fit is right for both sides, and say so plainly when it isn't.

Who it's for

Owners who want a partner in the outcome

  • You want a partner, not a lenderCapital from someone whose return depends on the same outcome as yours.
  • The plan needs money and handsGrowth, systems or leadership the business cannot yet fund on its own.
  • You'd like to take some money off the tableA majority recapitalization lets you de-risk now and share in the next exit.
  • You intend to sell within three yearsThe fund invests against a defined path to exit.

Questions owners ask

Will you take control of my business?

Only if that is what you choose. A minority investment leaves you in control. A majority recapitalization is for owners who want to take money off the table and step back, and it is structured together.

What does the fund look for?

Established, owner-run businesses with real earnings, a credible value plan and an owner who wants a partner in the outcome. Every investment is subject to due diligence and definitive agreements.

How are you paid?

From the sale of our stake at exit. If we also run the sale, brokerage is paid as a success fee at close. Both are set out in writing before anything begins.
